Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Brand Development Manager at Baume & Mercier. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and brand desirability in the Chinese market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement the yearly business strategic plan and budget
    • Propose and implement the distribution strategy to achieve annual sales objectives
    • Define the distribution strategy and develop the business on all channels: Retail, Wholesale, ECOM, and phone sales
  • Market Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and boutiques
    • Monitor and develop sales, and improve the brand coverage in the country
    • Implement productive assortments in all POS and improve replenishment process to ensure best sellers are always in store
  • Marketing and Communication
    • Implement marketing and communication strategy, in line with Headquarters guidelines
    • Develop the marketing strategy and initiatives within the defined expenses envelope
    • Manage all aspects of the brand's image building and development
  • Operations Management
    • Manage the operations processes, including supply chain, forecasting, and purchasing
    • Monitor and support After Sales Service performance
  • Team Management
    • Manage the Baume & Mercier team, including Sales, Marketing, Communication, and Operations functions
    • Develop and manage a team to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or MBA
  • 5 years of managerial experience in Luxury goods or High value product industry
  • Excellent commercial background and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking, client-focused, and result-oriented
  • Strong communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and good knowledge of Excel and Power Point presentation
