We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the commercial operations of the China team, focusing on maximizing the profitable distribution, promotional efforts, and sales of the William Grant & Sons portfolio within the designated channel. This position plays a crucial role in achieving local strategic objectives and budgetary goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement promotional strategies effectively within consumer and on-trade channels to enhance brand visibility and recognition.
  • Achieve distribution, activation, and sales objectives through meticulous planning, trade execution, negotiation, and customer influence, aligned with brand strategies and utilizing business systems.
  • Explore and identify new business opportunities to expand distribution and coverage within the on-trade sector in the assigned region.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to uncover and leverage opportunities that enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiently manage a structured call cycle to optimize productivity, covering key clients within the area of responsibility, documented through the company's CRM system.
  • Gather and relay market insights, particularly regarding pricing and competitive activities, to formulate relevant action plans.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated success in a sales role, preferably within the liquor industry.
  • Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in IT applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Above-average written and verbal presentation capabilities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
