Key Responsibilities

The Regional Technical Service Manager, APAC will provide technical support to the customer base in the region, supporting the Electrolube BU strategy and sales initiatives for key target accounts. The role will work closely with Regional marketing manager, Business development and field sales to provide professional technical services to customers in the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise to Site Account Managers to support customer processes related to Electrolube offerings.
  • Project management support for technical projects, including technology transfers, process solutions, new product implementation & emerging technologies.
  • Preparing Applications Bulletins to communicate & support process solutions, New Product Implementation and Emerging Technologies.
  • Performing Beta Site evaluation to support New Product Introductions.
  • Providing sales, marketing and R&D with technical trends, customers' technical requirements as well as partnership opportunities with customers.
  • Preparing and presenting technical papers at industrial conferences.
  • Participating in and sometimes leading Worldwide Response teams for strategic customers.
  • Providing technical training to customers –engineers & operators as well as Sales & Logistic partners.
  • Addressing technical inquiries as called upon.
  • Conducting failure analyses.
  • Conducting investigations and completing project reporting.
  • Managing the Technical Service Request process.
  • Providing assistance to overall Technical Services Group by supporting sales and customers, both Key And Target.
  • Providing technical support to manufacturing and quality assurance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:


A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Master or Ph. D is a plus.


Six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with electronic assembly with hands-on experience with conformal coating, potting resins and thermal interface materials technology, at least one of these, either material or processing. Rich experience on customer facing for field application supports.


Preferably with working experience on fields like Automotive, Industrial, AI, 5G communications etc. Familiar with products designs of BMS, Converter, Controller, Sensor, flowmeter, etc. and protection polymers and thermal interface materials inside the devices.


Must abide by all Company policies/procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.


Must have strong communication skills (written & verbal).


Must have strong analytical and statistical skills for problem solving.


Must have strong presentation skills.


Must have the ability to multi-task with 'can do attitude'.


Must be willing to travel 50 percent of the time.


Must have proven project management and scheduling skills.


Must be able to solve problems and troubleshoot technical matters while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.


Must have outstanding customer relations skills and be able to adapt to varying customer needs.


Must be able to multitask, manage transitions effectively and change focus quickly.


Ability to maintain a solution-oriented approach while dealing with interpersonal conflict, hazardous conditions, personal rejection, or time demands.


Must be able to handle constructive feedback and adapt accordingly.


Ability to prepare for emerging customer needs, manage multiple projects, determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans, and organize and schedule people and tasks.
