Job Summary

The Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of training programs within our Mainland China operations. This role focuses on enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance to ensure exceptional experiences and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives based on service performance metrics, customer feedback, and organizational goals.
  2. Design comprehensive training programs and curriculum tailored to the specific needs of service teams within the region.
  3. Develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia resources, to facilitate effective learning.
  4. Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for service personnel, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
  5. Deliver training both in-person and through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness for diverse audiences.
  6. Provide ongoing coaching and support to reinforce learning and address individual skill gaps.
  7. Assess the effectiveness of training programs through observation, evaluation, and feedback mechanisms.
  8. Analyze training outcomes and performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjustment.
  9. Collaborate with regional management to monitor service performance metrics and track the impact of training initiatives.
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to service delivery and training methodologies.
  11. Proactively recommend enhancements to training programs, content, and delivery methods to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the region, promoting individual and team growth.
  13. Collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate technical and product knowledge into training materials and programs.
  14. Foster strong relationships with service teams, gaining insights into their needs and challenges to tailor training solutions accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a service-oriented industry or environment.
  3. Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  5. Proficiency in utilizing training delivery platforms and multimedia tools for virtual and in-person training sessions.
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
