About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking a seasoned Client Project Manager to lead and direct concurrent client projects classified as standard or complex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interfacing with all project stakeholders to take projects from original concept through to final implementation, including handing over to Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct concurrent standard or complex projects, ensuring client satisfaction and managing escalations as a single point of contact.
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver projects from original concept through final implementation, ensuring the project delivers an as-sold solution, remains within the baselined budget, and is delivered on time while maintaining quality criteria and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the delivery of the project, including rigorous scope control and change management, ensuring clear and concise communications to all stakeholders.
  • Provide pre-sales support by working with sales teams to scope and cost a project solution, including completing a proposal and presenting our delivery approach as part of a tender process.
  • Identify opportunities and influence the sale by conducting a business conversation with the client, positioning organizational consulting and technical services offerings.
  • Coordinate activities of the project teams through task delegation or resource assignment, performing any other related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Seasoned project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, manage customer satisfaction, commitment, and expectations to high service levels, and manage escalations adequately.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in high-pressure environments, and seasoned ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Seasoned business acumen and commercial skills, passionate, strong initiative, self-driven with a commitment to succeed, and seasoned influencing ability while taking a collaborative approach.
  • Decisive with good attention to detail ability, seasoned ability to promote project services to both internal stakeholders and external clients, and competent in project change management.
  • Seasoned knowledge of the industry, domain, or technology related to the client's project, and seasoned problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address issues that may arise during project implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business and/or project management or related field.
  • Relevant project management certifications, preferably PMP required, and ITIL certification beneficial.
