Job Title: Sustainability Specialist

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's sustainability initiatives and ensuring that our operations are environmentally responsible.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our ESG analyst to develop and implement sustainability strategies that reduce our environmental footprint and improve our social and governance practices.
  • Manage and achieve our corporate emissions reduction goals through 2030, working closely with our facilities team to identify and implement energy-efficient solutions.
  • Develop and implement waste reduction programs and increase recycling rates across our facilities.
  • Work with our facilities team to develop and implement energy-efficient HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local and national energy codes and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date on innovative technologies and industry trends, and provide recommendations for their implementation.
  • Develop and implement a green building certification program for our facilities, working closely with our facilities team to ensure compliance with LEED, WELL, and other relevant standards.
  • Manage and analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support the development and implementation of renewable energy initiatives, working closely with our facilities team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Research and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings, and provide recommendations for their implementation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sustainability or EHS-related work, preferably in a foreign IC company.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with sustainability-related knowledge, ESG frameworks, and certification programs.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
