About the Role

Snap Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Gaming Industry efforts in China. As the Head of Gaming Industry, China, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building executive-level relationships, and developing strategic insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the Gaming vertical in China, aligning with regional leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Build and manage relationships with key sales partners and advertisers, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and goals.
  • Hold your team accountable for revenue quotas, defining, measuring, and delivering verticalized strategies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop accurate forecasts and quotas, and determine individual quotas and account lists for the team.
  • Provide structured reporting on performance in the market or market vertical, highlighting opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the performance of top clients and identify opportunities to accelerate growth in the vertical over the next year.
  • Maintain expertise on Snapchat products and developments, leveraging that understanding to identify cross-selling opportunities relevant to customers' business goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities based on a deep understanding of the market and customers' business strategies.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization (internally and externally).
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management.
  • Strong network with stakeholders in the industry and a profound knowledge and track-record of the industry.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related area of study.
  • 10+ years of experience in media/advertising, managing a team, and in-depth knowledge of the China region and key advertising players.
  • Experience working with compliance, legal, tax, and policy teams.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
