Product Manager of Post Launch Innovation

About the Role:

The Product Manager in our Shanghai office will play a crucial role in developing and delivering products for the Chinese market. Working closely with engineers, operations, marketing, and design experts, you will ensure the successful delivery of products that positively impact millions of users' daily lives.

About the Team:

You will be part of the Personal Workspace Solutions (PWS) business group, whose vision is to extend human potential and help anyone be at their creative and productive best in their workspace. Joining the PWS Post Launch Innovation team, you will contribute to energizing strategic existing products after launch with a special focus on the Chinese market.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver an optimized consumer experience within the desired time-to-market and product cost.
  • Manage full product developments independently, such as derivatives of existing products, special and limited editions, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in a small autonomous team driven by speed, performance, quality, and project efficiency.

Key Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (oral & written).
  • Demonstrable experience in product management and/or project management roles.
  • Solid understanding of product hardware development and project management.
  • A solid understanding of the product manager role, actively expanding your expertise in desirability (UX and design principles), feasibility (engineering constraints), and viability (cost, time-to-market, ROI) to drive user-centered innovation.
  • Ability to quickly grasp projects scope and constraints, and excellent problem-solving skills to make calculated trade-off decisions based on sound business acumen.
  • Capacity to thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and effectively collaborate with diverse local and global teams.

The successful candidate will be a pragmatic self-starter motivated by speed and efficiency, with a strong entrepreneurial and growth mindset.
