Principal Architect System Development Engineering

As a Principal Architect System Development Engineering at Philips, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative medical and non-medical regulated devices. Your expertise in systems engineering and requirement management will drive the creation of high-quality products that meet customer needs.
About the Role- Manage end-to-end product requirements and verification/validation matters related to technical solution/execution of a product proposition/platform.
- Work closely with Innovation Program Managers to drive execution from new product development to cost saving and sustaining engineering.
- Define and maintain platform architecture and interfaces in optimizing commonality, re-use, synergies, and economy of scale.
- Oversee product development and release of new products as a single contributor and team leader.
- Subject matter expert for Systems Engineering in product development processes.
- Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision across the sub-business and project team.
- Translate project objectives into corresponding functional requirements considering all valid use cases, product reliability, design robustness, cost, and manufacturability.
- Drive excellence in CTQ definition and control; design FMEA and process FMEA.
- Lead a team of System Engineers and Development Engineers.

Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in product creation and development.
- Good knowledge of product development and related manufacturing process.
- Experience in systems engineering, requirement management, and medical device quality standards.
- Qualification in Design for Six Sigma and experience in using tools and methodologies such as dFMEA, CTQ flow down, risk management, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in shaping, leading, and influencing high-performance development teams.
- Good communicator and team player who can communicate at all levels.
- Composure, conflict management, timely decision-making, listening skills, self-motivation, and perseverance are all requirements of this position.
