Job Description:
SAP is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Professional to lead the growth of our cloud solutions. This role empowers customers to achieve their full potential by strategically positioning SAP cloud solutions to address their unique business challenges.

About the Role:
This key position involves account and customer relationship management, demand generation, pipeline and opportunity management, sales excellence, and leading a virtual account team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in sales of complex business software/IT solutions, proven success in business application software sales, and strong negotiation skills. Fluency in Business English and Mandarin is required, with proficiency in additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Account & Customer Relationship Management:
  • Establish trusted relationships with customers and serve as the end-to-end account owner.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to ensure sustainable growth and revenue targets.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of each customer's technology landscape, strategic goals, and competitive environment.
  • Demand Generation, Pipeline, and Opportunity Management:
  • Maintain pipeline management and leverage internal resources to drive demand and manage opportunities.
  • Utilize SAP's comprehensive solution portfolio to effectively address customer needs.
  • Sales Excellence:
  • Conduct White Space analysis to identify and execute up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Orchestrate and deploy appropriate teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Stay informed about SAP's competition and position SAP solutions effectively against them.
  • Leading a (Virtual) Account Team:
  • Lead and orchestrate remote and cross-functional teams to align with the customer's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that account teams and partners are well-prepared and strategically positioned for all customer interactions.

What You Bring:
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in sales of complex business software/IT solutions, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in Business English and Mandarin. Additional languages are a plus. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
