Job Purpose:
We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Commercial Marketing Manager with a passion for sound, music, and technology. This role will oversee our marketing initiatives on social commerce platforms and retail environments in a dynamic setting. You will be responsible for shaping the company’s marketing strategy on emerging social commerce platforms, executing and assessing marketing activities to foster new business development.
The Commercial Marketing Manager embodies the Group's vision, ensuring that all initiatives enhance brand awareness and positioning, performance, profitability, and organizational growth while upholding strong governance and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate marketing strategies and develop a customer-focused marketing plan that influences customers and prospects throughout the sales cycle, driving business outcomes.
- Identify new business prospects by researching innovative technologies, customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain the highest quality standards in all marketing efforts.
- Implement successful marketing campaigns that build brand recognition, generate leads, and boost sales on social commerce platforms, including but not limited to Douyin, RED, and Dewu.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to empower distributors in creating a content strategy and editorial calendar that enhances our brand positioning and thought leadership on social commerce platforms.
- Accountable for retail marketing campaigns aimed at achieving sales targets.
- Manage budgets effectively to ensure the efficient use of marketing resources.
- Work alongside colleagues in the GC marketing team on the planning and execution of specific projects as required.
- Support the Head of Marketing, GC with additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Over 7 years of experience in a marketing role.
- A comprehensive understanding and extensive experience with social commerce platforms and retail environments, with a proven track record.
- Experience in providing strategic marketing recommendations.
- A self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of establishing and maintaining positive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Able to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
- Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialization in Sales/Marketing.
- Experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
Minimum Experience:
- 7 years of experience in a marketing capacity.
