Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Principal Customer Engagement/Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support organization, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer-reported issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to resolve critical customer issues and develop expertise in hardware and software.
  • Debug customer-reported failures, create test cases, and log issues with internal teams.
  • Recommend workarounds and application-level solutions to customers.
  • Test R&D fixes and patches.
  • Develop expertise in hardware and software and support field service teams.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal groups to spec out enhancement requests.
  • Test new product features and participate in internal beta activities.
  • Update product training materials.

Requirements

  • BS-EE/CE (MS-EE/CE preferred) with 8+ years of experience in design and/or verification of complex digital designs or applications engineering/technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of design debug techniques and logic design.
  • Knowledgeable in verification methodologies for complex EDA environments.
  • Proficiency in HDL languages like Verilog, System Verilog, and VHDL.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting languages.
  • Experience with emulation and Cadence's Palladium product.
  • General knowledge in TBA, Coverage/Assertion flow, Low Power (UPF), and UVM.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
