Job Summary

Cadence Design Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Principal Customer Engagement/Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our customer support organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their success with our products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, to resolve critical customer issues and improve product quality.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and technologies to provide expert-level support to customers.
  • Communicate complex technical information to customers and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in internal beta activities and provide feedback on new product features and releases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our customers receive the best possible support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master's degree preferred) with 8+ years of experience in design and/or verification of complex digital designs, or Applications engineering/technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of design debug techniques and a strong understanding of logic design.
  • Proficiency in HDL languages, such as Verilog, System Verilog, and VHDL, as well as Unix/Linux scripting languages.
  • Experience with emulation and Cadence's Palladium product is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
