The Role: ECAD Technical ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ECAD Technical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our presales technical team, you will play a critical role in managing our global processes, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across regions and cultures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EDA industry, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to guide our team on how to communicate the value of integrated product solutions.
You will be responsible for defining performance requirements, proactively working with internal stakeholders, and providing clear direction to the team. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving alignment and enterprise messaging with customers at a business level.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a growing team of technical professionals, ensuring effective workload balance and tracking
- Develop and implement new policies and direction as required, guiding the team to think strategically and support cross-functional team interaction
- Conduct technical strategy reviews based on account plans and customer requirements, serving as the primary technical point-of-contact for sales and global technical management
- Become a trusted technical advisor to internal sales and technical teams by staying up-to-date on company information and direction
- Create technical presentations to support customer and internal activities, traveling to customer sites as needed
- At least 5 years of experience in leading an Enterprise presales technical team
- Experience/knowledge of the ECAD industry, including tools, processes, and competitive products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage customers at a business level
- Ability to travel up to 30%
