Human Resources Manager

Job Summary
As a key member of the Human Resources team at Marriott International, the Human Resources Manager plays a vital role in supporting the daily activities of the Human Resource Office, including recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. This position is responsible for delivering HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.
Candidate Profile
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; 3 years of experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
OR
• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; 1 year of experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
Core Work Activities
Managing Recruitment and Hiring Process
• Collaborates with the recruitment team to identify and select top talent for open positions.
• Develops and implements effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
• Partners with management to ensure that all recruitment and hiring processes are fair, equitable, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
Administering and Educating Employee Benefits
• Ensures that all employee benefits are administered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develops and implements effective employee benefits programs to meet the needs of employees and support business objectives.
• Collaborates with the benefits team to ensure that all benefits are communicated effectively to employees.
Managing Employee Development
• Develops and implements effective employee development programs to support the growth and development of employees.
• Collaborates with management to ensure that all employee development programs are aligned with business objectives.
• Partners with the training team to ensure that all training programs are effective and meet the needs of employees.
Maintaining Employee Relations
• Collaborates with management to ensure that all employee relations issues are addressed in a fair and equitable manner.
• Develops and implements effective employee relations strategies to support positive employee relations and minimize conflict.
• Partners with the HR team to ensure that all employee relations issues are communicated effectively to employees.
Managing Legal and Compliance Practices
• Ensures that all legal and compliance practices are implemented in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develops and implements effective legal and compliance strategies to support business objectives.
• Collaborates with the compliance team to ensure that all compliance practices are effective and meet the needs of employees.
