Sales Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Cooper-Standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan to establish Cooper-Standard as a supplier of choice for the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Develop marketing plans, projected sales forecasts, and potential product lists.
- Establish strong relationships with major OEM automobile manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Manage budget for sales department and report to Director of Business Development China and Plant Manager on sales status, progress, and plans.
- Establish procedures for customer interaction, including quoting, engineering requests, prototype parts, and provide additional support required by Plant Manager to facilitate the launch of workshop and final production facility.
- Evaluate price estimation and negotiate with customers.
Requirements:
- 5 years sales management experience in the automotive industry with contacts in major foreign-joint venture automotive makers in China.
- University degree and at least 5 years work experience in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline).
