Position Summary:

The Shell Mobility division is undergoing a transformation to become the leading mobility service provider globally. With over 3,000 service stations across 20 provinces, including both fuel and standalone EV sites, our Mobility business is a key driver of growth and profitability. It is essential to not only offer superior fuel options but also to meet the evolving needs of our customers for convenience shopping, quality food, and vehicle care.

As a member of the Mobility China CR Team, this position focuses on enhancing food service offerings at Shell's mobility locations, aligning with our strategic objectives for 2030. The Food Service Category Manager will be instrumental in developing our food service capabilities, including category management, operational procedures, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve profit growth targets for Shell's food service operations.
  • Formulate and execute implementation plans for food service across both fuel and EV sites, ensuring stringent food safety measures.
  • Establish a comprehensive food service supply chain, including logistics, standard operating procedures, and food safety protocols.
  • Innovate and refresh food product offerings based on customer insights and preferences in mobility environments.
  • Develop and manage food service P&L to achieve profitability and performance improvement targets.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fresh food product development or procurement.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to challenges.
  • Strong commercial acumen with strategic, operational, and financial insights.
  • Recent experience and understanding of the food service sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams informally to achieve commercial objectives.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Fluency in English for business communication.
