We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Category Development Manager. This role is based in our global headquarters in Boston and will be responsible for leading the development of our Category Specialist program in the Asia market.
About the Role- Lead the development and execution of category strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability
- Build strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams to advance business objectives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities for the category
- Analyze data to strategize revenue and profit growth opportunities for the category and specific supplier partners
- Develop and execute tactical plans to drive business results, including catalog expansion, supplier relationships, and trade show attendance
About You
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is required; 1+ years of experience in ecommerce, sourcing, or supply-side sales is preferred
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint expertise, with readiness to work with data using SQL, Tableau, and other tools
- Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, with a track record of successful negotiation and relationship management skills
- Innovative problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions
- A structured, proactive approach to your work, eager to progress professionally and motivated to drive business growth
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
