About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Commercial Excellence to join our team at Mutares. As a key member of our organization, you will play a lead role in managing our invested portfolio companies and driving business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement overall transformation strategies for portfolio companies to improve business performance.
  • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with local teams to implement targeted initiatives and track progress.
  • Support the M&A team in due diligence and identify improvement potentials.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Profile

  • At least 7 years of international experience in Commercial Excellence roles in industry or consulting.
  • Master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, marketing, or a related field with outstanding results.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in complex situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and pragmatic approach.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, with another European language a plus.
