Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the assigned territories and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in assigned territories and industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop effective sales plans.
  • Provide technical assistance and consultation to customers to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain key account strategies for high-profile customers and maintain good relationships with industry opinion leaders.
  • Handle customer happiness with all installed customers through effective coordination with Customer Support team.
  • Submit funnel and forecast timely.
  • Feedback marketing and technical information to marketing team.

Requirements:

  • BS degree or above in Chemistry, Physics, Materials or equivalent is required.
  • Appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of BS degree.
  • 3-5 years sales experience selling capital equipment, preferably in the analytical instrument market.
  • Confirmed understanding of analytical instrument business.
  • Effective interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Self-motivated and result-focused.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
  • Accurate forecasting ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General Analytical Instrument product knowledge.
  • Specific industry experiences a definite asset.
  • Successfully handles subjective decision-making.
  • In-depth understanding of the professional selling process.
  • College degree or equivalent sales/business experience.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

Travel will be a mix of airline, rail or bus transportation. Must occasionally able to lift and/or move up to 30 Kg.
