About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon (Shanghai) International Trading Company Limited Hangzhou Branch. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Seller Consultants and driving business growth through strategic planning and consultative techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of Seller Consultants, coaching, developing, and inspiring direct reports to motivate high performance and deliver target business results.
  • Develop performance objectives and goals, conduct business reviews, and drive business forecasting and planning.
  • Convey actionable insights to improve customer experience and seller recruitment results, and optimize long-term seller success.
  • Explore and drive scalable business development approaches and tactics to accelerate funnel conversion and drive seller growth.
  • Identify new seller journey pain points and work with cross-functional teams to improve Amazon tools and products, and build mechanisms that enhance seller experience and efficiency.
  • Monitor progress against goals and respond to changes in seller communities and Amazon marketplaces overseas.
Requirements
  • Strong business development skills and excellent analytical and planning abilities.
  • Track record of success in initiating, proposing cross-functional projects, and driving operation excellence.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in recruiting, coaching, leading, and growing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to speak effectively to any audience.
  • Data-driven mentality with the ability to back up ideas with facts and examples.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, including partner ecosystem, seller/supplier communities, and seller recruitment channels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or business operation.
  • 3+ years of experience in building and leading teams.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower team members to achieve their best.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent data analysis and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
