We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our AMEX team in [Location]. As a key member of our Asia Partners team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier acquisition and business partnership development for our Asia-based Supplier program. You will work closely with external partners, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams to set up and onboard suppliers onto Wayfair.

You will leverage data dashboards, category-specific knowledge, and Wayfair value props to nimbly navigate conversations with new vendors. Your goal will be to source and convert new leads into motivated suppliers.

A portion of your time will be spent working on strategic projects focused on driving more results, more efficiently.

About You

We are looking for a problem-solving, entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about innovating to solve business problems creatively. You must have an interest in driving real-time, material impact on the business and a willingness to hit the ground running.

As a collaborative by nature individual, you will be able to build relationships and buy-in to drive change effectively in a positive manner. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years out of undergrad with relevant work or internship experience (strong preference for experience within an e-commerce organization)
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate and feel comfortable speaking directly with owners and executives of large companies
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • A highly curious self-starter capable of achieving goals in an unstructured environment. Hustle is vital
