Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This role involves fostering relationships with new and existing clients while driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding current client accounts.
- Engage in proactive outreach to generate qualified leads, converting them into loyal customers through effective sales strategies.
- Conduct regular client meetings to assess service satisfaction and explore potential avenues for revenue enhancement.
- Achieve and surpass revenue targets set forth by the management.
- Establish and implement customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Promote the comprehensive range of services and products offered by the company, collaborating with various departments to optimize sales efforts.
- Work closely with the trade line manager and upper management to enhance the trade line and overall business performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics sector; familiarity with the German and French markets is a plus.
- A highly motivated individual with robust knowledge of import/export ocean (NVOCC) and air logistics, along with experience in value-added 3PL solutions.
- Proficient communication skills in English and Chinese, both spoken and written; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
- Competence in using personal computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A willingness to learn and adapt, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
- Excellent organizational skills and punctuality.
- A collaborative team player who can provide constructive feedback to superiors.
- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, often under tight deadlines.
