Job Overview

The Creative Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire creative process, working closely with product management, marketing, and sales teams to understand the brief. This individual will then collaborate with external agencies to drive messaging and creative direction, supporting the organization's communication needs across various channels, including digital, e-commerce, and social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a creative philosophy and standard of output for the region
  • Conceptualize and develop ideas for new product introductions, advertising, and promotional campaigns
  • Monitor competitive developments and identify opportunities to communicate benefits and advantages of products
  • Lead the creative team in developing a full set of go-to-market assets, including e-commerce product pages, online campaign pages, social media assets, 3D renders, videos, and retail materials
  • Build and maintain a collaborative environment for the creative team, overseeing their ideas and projects
  • Present to product management, sales, and marketing teams for alignment and execution
  • Oversee multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and quality standards
  • Liaise with the team to address issues and ensure effective communication
  • Understand commercial aspects of the business to ensure materials effectively communicate brand and product stories
  • Hire and manage the creative team

Requirements

  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW) to guide designers and bring concepts to life
  • At least 6 years of experience, with a focus on digital materials, especially for product pages in online purchasing platforms like Amazon
  • Passion for electronic products and gadgets, with an interest in market trends
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire the creative team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills to present concepts and ideas
  • Plenty of creative ideas and an understanding of consumer needs and competitive landscape
  • Awareness of current trends in advertising and design
  • A self-starting attitude and open-minded approach
  • Resilience under pressure and against deadlines
  • Skills in managing people, projects, and resources
