About the Role:

The Strategic Business Process Owner will play a crucial role in the successful functioning and re-engineering of business processes within the invoicing domain, aligned with the integrator strategy. This techno-functional position offers excellent visibility with senior stakeholders across the organization and other verticals, given the criticality of the projects involved.

About the Team:

The functional product owner community at Maersk is playing a central role in redefining the way that Maersk serves its customers. We are looking for strong leaders eager to make the strategy of being the Global Integrator of Container Logistics a reality.

Key Responsibilities:

The Strategic Business Process Owner is responsible for the functional design and processes within the function. You will be responsible for the process design and play a key role in the technological developments needed to support the function. You will also play the role of change agent to deploy your design to the organization.

To Ensure You Deliver on This, You Will Need to:

  • Techno-Functional Expertise: Analyze and translate business requirements into effective IT solutions and setups, ensuring seamless integration between processes and systems.
  • Process Improvement: Challenge and enhance current business processes, invoicing policies, and governance structures related to billing and invoicing to drive efficiency.
  • Holistic IT Solutions: Develop comprehensive solutions that involve working with both upgraded IT environments (Platforms), legacy systems (SAP, CW1, BlueJay), and new technologies (TAC & CW1).
  • Process Optimization: Lead changes to key business processes by collaborating with upstream and downstream teams to minimize inefficiencies in the existing invoicing process.
  • Outcome Articulation: Clearly articulate outcomes through structured process and policy changes and enhance data visibility.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Act as a self-starter, understanding the processes and proposing innovative solutions to improve them.
  • Transformation Initiatives: Drive transformation initiatives focusing on governance, process automation, and process engineering where needed.
  • End-to-End Process Focus: Support the integrator strategy by developing a unified LnS & Ocean framework, ensuring a cohesive approach to end-to-end processes.
  • Logistics & Services Process Development: Establish detailed processes for Logistics & Services, facilitating self-help capabilities for Areas, Regions, and Products.
  • Project Collaboration: Work independently with project delivery teams, providing process requirements, reviewing solution designs, and offering techno-functional configuration inputs.
