Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) is a new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management, and Global Private Banking, to become a global wealth manager with trillions in assets. Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management, and private banking, that best suit our customers' needs.

As a key member of our team, you will assist the Division Manager in leading a customer development team in people management, sales performance management, training, and coaching, and operational risk control, to maximize the productivity of the team and contribute to the achievement of business strategy with high-quality sales and service standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Closely monitoring the sales and services quality provided by team members to ensure the sales/service process is strictly followed and the delivery of a consistently excellent customer experience.
  • To ensure fair outcomes for customers are delivered in all situations.
  • To manage, lead, and motivate a team of highly mobile sales staff, and to lead a mobile sales team to focus on activities to expand HSBC's new to wealth acquisition.
  • Role success will be achieved by focusing on striving to develop new relationships outside HSBC that will deliver sustainable growth and profitability.
Requirements:

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Proven ability in mobile sales.
  • Current product/market knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Managerial experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience in supervisory role of sales function.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and motivation skills.
  • Strong sales and organization ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Result-driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Good spoken and written English.
