Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our customers' analytical instrumentation, including LCMS and HPLC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical assistance and support for installations, diagnostics, and repair services for LCMS and HPLC systems.
  • Offer remote technical assistance and consultation to customers to ensure optimal performance and troubleshooting of their analytical instrumentation.
  • Accurately document field service activities, including installation reports, repair reports, and preventative maintenance reports, and submit them through our required system in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to resolve issues and improve our services.
  • Develop and implement key account strategies for high-profile customers and maintain strong relationships with industry opinion leaders.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to improve team support capacity and optimize work quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, pharmaceutical, or environment engineering, or a relevant major.
  • At least two years of working experience with HPLC and LCMS systems, with proficiency in computer knowledge.
  • Preference will be given to those with two or more years of field service experience with LCMS, GCMS, and HPLC systems, as well as previous experience in installing, servicing, and application support of analytical instrumentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
