Job Description

This position is a unique opportunity to join Maersk in Xi'an, China as a Quality Inspector for the Terminal Tractor Project. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of manufacturing and testing processes at the manufacturers' facilities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the QA Department and assist the Head of QA in finalizing the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
  • Conduct detailed daily inspections to ensure compliance with project technical specifications, design drawings, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and report any Non-Conformance, including major deviations from Contract, Specification, Design, or Standards.
  • Prepare and submit QA reports to CES Project Manager(s) on a regular basis.

Critical Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of terminal tractor design and fabrication processes.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection within the heavy vehicle industry or specifically terminal tractor manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in maintenance and operation of terminal tractors in a terminal environment is highly valued.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is ¥500,000 - ¥700,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Maersk offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
