Drive Business Growth with IFF


We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to join our industry-lead business development team at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of IFF by driving revenue, generating strategies, and serving as a trusted business partner to our largest customers.


About the Role


As a Senior Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and execute sales strategies with customers to grow profitable sales and support overall business objectives of the corporation. You will be responsible for creating, presenting, and executing strategic account plans that meet or exceed financial metrics, driving for results.


Key Responsibilities



  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of customers, understanding customer strategy, organization, and brands.
  • Deeply understand and leverage internationally IFF's strategy, organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, product, and service offerings.
  • Position IFF as a strategic trusted partner by co-creating winning value propositions that satisfy customer needs.
  • Be the face of IFF, acting as the lead contact for customers in the region, developing deep customer relationships at all levels.
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams through complex, technically challenging projects.
  • Identify and create new business opportunities for IFF, coaching the IFF teams to develop and execute plans to generate project pipeline and new sales.
  • Accountable for accurate regional sales forecast and budget.
  • Prepare executive sales reports and new business activity for IFF management.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree, with 7+ years of successful sales experience in a flavor/fragrance-related industry required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate activities with internal support teams and customers.
  • Knowledgeable of industry trends, companies, technology, and displays passion.
  • Confident, dynamic, and enthusiastic professional with the ability to generate trust by delivering on commitments.
  • Possess the ability to lead multi-cultural teams.
  • IT acumen and the ability to leverage big data points to enhance regional strategic account plans, commercial performance, and customer engagement.
