We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at C.H. Robinson. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global logistics company and contribute to the success of our customers.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing customer supply chain information and data within our Transportation Management System. They will act as an extension of the customer's staff, ensuring that all information flows properly and efficiently to ensure transportation arrangements are made.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure transportation arrangements are made for shipments by monitoring customer load boards and information flow in the Transportation Management System
  • Maintain team mailboxes and perform relationship and knowledge-based exception management to pre-defined processes
  • Document and organize existing standard operating processes and learn multiple job functions within the assigned team
  • Facilitate customer calls and updates, identify when an outgoing call is needed to offer proactive answers
  • Meet operational metrics and conduct CHR systems trainings to external CHR customer representatives
  • Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Make fact-based suggestions on how customers can achieve their goals in utilizing CHR by understanding CHR's value proposition
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
  • Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion
  • Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)
  • Site Specific: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including life insurance, medical insurance, paid time off, holiday allowance, and more.
