NYU Shanghai is a pioneering Sino-US research university located in the heart of Shanghai. As a Civic Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting Chinese students' civic education and military training requirements.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a Master's degree in Education or a related field to join our team. You should have 1-2 years of experience working in a college or university setting and be proficient in both English and Mandarin. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. This figure is based on industry standards and reflects the level of expertise required for this role.

You will be responsible for managing various aspects of civic engagement, including:

  • Civic Education Course Coordination: assist in course planning, execution, and administration
  • Military Training Coordination: coordinate logistics, staff chaperons, and student leaders
  • Student Personal Dossier Management: maintain and transfer student records as required

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also manage other administrative tasks, such as student ID booklet issuing, replacement, and CPC membership management.
