SUMMARY

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) is a leading company in the creation of perfumes and flavors. We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager for Natural Ingredients in Greater Asia to join our dynamic international LMR sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the sales of LMR natural ingredients business in Greater Asia, promoting our ingredients in B2B to manufacturers and end-users in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the sales of LMR natural ingredients business in Greater Asia
  • Set up commercial strategies, KPIs, and action plans for regional distribution channels and direct accounts
  • Establish and implement business plans aiming to increase revenue, business, market share, and profitability
  • Sustain high customer satisfaction and strengthen collaboration with existing customers
  • Actively prospect new customers
  • Handle direct sales and indirect sales with distributors
  • Prepare and monitor sales budget
  • Analyze and provide sales forecasts
  • Promote IFF LMR Naturals Portfolio
  • Acquire expert knowledge on our products
  • Present natural ingredients during meetings and industry events, participate in international business trips
  • Support local distributors in their product knowledge with training and marketing materials
  • Implement sales & marketing strategies for each market to sustain the company vision
  • Gather market strategic information
  • Initiate and drive projects with key accounts
  • Coordinate regional and local actions regarding LMR new collections and products launches

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL


Master's degree or equivalent in business, economics, or marketing
Minimum of 5 years sales experience in ingredients, fragrances, and/or flavors industries
Know-how in developing specific markets for ingredients
Required skills: business-oriented, negotiator-facilitator, proactive, knowledge of different cultures, excellent written and verbal communicator, rigor, and organizational skills. Positive mindset, dynamic, and charismatic.
Being available for international traveling on a monthly basis
A team player, able to work independently
Chinese + English fluency speaking/writing, French is a plus.
Mastering SAP is a plus
Location: the job will be based at IFF office in Shanghai. A period of training in Grasse facility, France, will be required.
