Job Title: General Counsel - Asia-Pacific

Job Summary:

As a key member of the Belkin International leadership team, the General Counsel - Asia-Pacific will provide strategic legal guidance and support to the organization across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will oversee the development and implementation of legal strategies, manage relationships with external counsel, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance on all aspects of business operations in the Asia-Pacific region, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support business growth and expansion in the region.
  • Manage a team of external counsel to provide cost-effective and high-quality legal services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the Asia-Pacific region and provide guidance on compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and external counsel.

Requirements:

  • Recognized legal qualification and admission in at least one jurisdiction in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial law, with a focus on Asia-Pacific region.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful legal strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex legal issues.
