About the Role

Beijing Century Joyo Information Technology Co., Ltd. Chengdu Branch is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for handling daily tasks, managing exceptions, and collaborating with service providers to solve issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Task Management: Handles assigned daily tasks, manages and handles exceptions in daily work, and uses knowledge and skills to meet assigned goals in a timely manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Handles problems with minimal visible risks or roadblocks, troubleshoots problems with no existing procedure or SOP, evaluates compliance risks, and escalates roadblocks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with service providers and origin or destination logistics teams to solve issues.
  • Process Improvement: Acts as the team process expert, co-works with other stakeholders on process improvement, product launch, and UAT test, manages business reporting as required, performs root cause analysis, and owns specific actions to fix problems.
  • Additional Duties: Takes additional duties assigned by leadership as business-related services and products continue to expand.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3+ years of working experience in the industry (logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain industry, broker, customs agent).
  • Language Skills: Proficient written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word) and solid data analysis skills.
  • Soft Skills: Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to meet deadlines, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade Lane Knowledge: Trade lane knowledge of CN-US, EU, JP, AU.
  • Process Improvement Expertise: Experience as a Process Improvement Expert, Business Analyst, and Project Manager.
  • Foreign Language Skills: Foreign language speaker, i.e., Dutch, German.
  • Lean Mindset: 6 Sigma and Lean mindset.
