About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Market Access Manager to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our market access team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing reimbursement strategies and programs to obtain coverage, coding, and payment from payers and providers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reimbursement strategies and programs to obtain coverage, coding, and payment from payers and providers.
  • Provide reimbursement-related advice to product development teams, marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical, and business leaders.
  • Identify payer opportunities and issues and implement programs to resolve or decrease barriers to entry for our products or therapies.
  • Work closely with Health Economics and Outcomes Research staff to evaluate the economic impact of the use of therapies/products on payers, including the government.
  • May create training and deliver education programs to sales force, physicians, home care agencies, case managers, hospital CFOs, medical directors, billing personnel, and pharmacists in clinics and hospitals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
