We are seeking a highly skilled Display Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. in Beijing.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and realizing development, localization, and supplier set management for Display & HUD in collaboration with different RD localizations. This includes tech scouting new display area technology and innovation, initial POC and triggering new development for the China market.
Main Responsibilities:- Coordinate and realize development, localization, and supplier set management for Display & HUD in collaboration with different RD localizations.
- Conduct POC for innovation in cooperation with responsible China teams and suppliers.
- Evaluate and support RD Germany to understand about China market display technology.
- Manage part localization projects from design-freeze to part release with handover to series production.
- Work together with cross-functional departments to set up localization milestones and coordinate activities to pursue tight time schedules.
- Support system and vehicle testing and release.
- Conduct and manage all technical for local and imported Parts and organize the handover to BBAC Product engineering and local suppliers.
- University degree in control and automation, automotive or electrical engineering.
- Graduates with first experience in automotive industry as well as applicants with minimum 3~5 years display and headup display work experience at OEMs or suppliers.
- Specific Knowledge: Vector CANoe, Monaco, and other network testing tools.
- Basic knowledge about vehicle communication protocol (include automotive Ethernet, CAN FD, LIN, Flexray, etc.).
- Fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
- Self-responsible working attitude and initiative.
- Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, lead crossfunctional decision with purpose orientation.

- Willingness to travel inside China and abroad to prepare and support launches at JV / suppliers.
