AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

[AWS China Introduction] Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services has also established an AI lab in Shanghai and two IoT labs in Shenzhen and Taipei. The Amazon Web Services Partner Network has thousands of Partners in China. Amazon Web Services has supported over 10,000 local startups and has provided cloud skills training to over 700,000 talents. We are looking for a Go-to-Market Specialist to help define and execute the strategy to grow the EC2 related services, including but not limited to, EC2 instances from Intel, AMD, and ARM platforms, Accelerating processes, as well as the preferable related services like SPOT, Enclave. You would use your business savvy to drive revenue, develop sales programs, and identify new markets and opportunities. You will work directly with the most interesting and demanding customers – from the world’s hottest startups to the largest enterprises – to understand their requirements and turn them into reality.
Your background in cloud-friendly, scalable architectures will help customers understand how to scale their infrastructure on the cloud. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will allow you build sales enablement tools, evangelize our platform with our enterprise customers, start-ups and valued partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a business development background and demonstrate great technical acumen that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and Bias for Action is a must.

Key job responsibilities
1, Work closely with our customers to ensure they are successful using our web services, and that they have the technical resources required
2, Help define and prioritize the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals we target; set a strategic business development plan for target markets and ensure it is in line with the AWS strategic direction and develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets and handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market
3, Work yourself out of a job by training the sales and technical field on how to identify and execute on the EC2 related services, including but not limited to, EC2 instances from Intel, AMD, and ARM platforms, Accelerating processers, as well as the preferable related services like SPOT, Enclave.
4, Identify customer segments to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business, use case, and workload; fill the business development pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers
5, Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings for developers. Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customer.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
