Sr. Business Operation Program Manager, Strategic Accounts

[Key Job Responsibilities]
Sales Ops program manager will be responsible for building and implementing operational foundations for Strategic Accounts Team including mechanisms and tools for business planning, reviews to improve teams operational efficiency. This role will also be driving ESM level strategic projects with global and cross-functional stakeholders. Therefore, this role requires data-driven analytical skills, program management capability and influencing skills.
This role will work with senior business leaders and account managers, global program managers in different marketplaces such as North America, Europe and Japan.
The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross functional, cross cultural and fast-paced environment; has resilience and persistent learning appetite, superb analytical capability, strong inter-personal & communication skills, along with an intense customer obsession and ownership. You will be expected to be innovative and strong in simplifying processes and mechanisms.
Key job responsibilities
1. Building operational foundation/mechanisms for Strategic Account Management Team.
2. Working with BI team on creating and optimizing dashboards/data tools to enable team's analytical tasks.
3. Owning business planning/forecasting and working with central planning team for goal alignment and tracking.
4. Driving project alignments across cross-functional and global stakeholders.
5. 'Invent and Simplifying' existing procedures and innovate for business evolvement.
A day in the life
There is no typical day as Business Operations PM. You could start the day with an early meeting debating with global counterparts, or brainstorming session on a critical issue surfaced during biz review, or building a new mechanism solution to improve teams efficiency, or fire-fighting an urgent escalation.
The topics you encounter are seldom repetitive, and most likely they are across a broad range of data analytics, ops planning and implementation. In Amazon, it’s always Day 1

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience presenting to senior leadership- 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
