The General Business BD team is a key part of the GCR business development, which is positioned as the growth engine for future business in terms of year-on-year growth and new customer acquisition and tier-up.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Strategic Startup Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for AWS business development with high-growth and innovative startups in China. You will drive AWS adoption and usage within China's startup ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue and market share growth in cutting-edge tracks or any other customer assigned by Amazon"
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/ track/territory plan
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
• Accelerate customer adoption
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline & reporting
• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
• Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc)
• Develop case studies
• Manage contract negotiations
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
• Ensure customer satisfaction (managing pre-sales and post sales customer experience)
• Moderate travel within the region (North, East, South or Central)

Basic Qualifications
-Basic qualifications
• 5+ years of IT sales/pre-sales experience; familiar with startups
• Proven enterprise and vertical industry business development capabilities
• BA/BS degree
• Fluent in Mandarin (Putonghua) & proficient in English communication in a multinational organization
Preferred Qualifications

• Masters in related field or MBA
• Passionate about startups, unicorn companies, or entrepreneurial experience preferred
• A technical sales background with solutions and IT services to IT industry, SMB customers, startups or state-owned enterprise, with direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts across assigned territory
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Extensive customer & contact network
• Sales experience with virtualization/infrastructure solutions
