Project Wu-Assistant Manager Description

  • Kenvue is currently recruiting for a PMO-Assistant Manager for a role involving the flawless execution of Core team from both Kenvue and Janssen, focusing on project WU Technical workstream to ensure the quality of 5 APIs with new vendor sources for current products in XJP.
  • Covering 40% of the total selfcare business, this position requires close collaboration between XJP and Kenvue at local, regional, and global levels.

This position reports to the PMO-Assistant Manager and is based in Shanghai.

What You Will Do

  • As the PMO-Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical qualification of 5 APIs through an end-to-end process involving cross-functional collaboration with resources such as RMC, Sourcing, SQM, Quality, and RA.
  • You will engage with key stakeholders, including China business leaders, as well as regional and global diamond and function leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead project core team meetings as required.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships among project core teams from Kenvue and Janssen.
  • Manage the project timeline to ensure the new source qualification is delivered and obtain DP HA approval.
  • Evaluate project FPO feasibility to incorporate flexibility and contingency for unforeseen challenges.
  • Track and review budget and costs during project implementation.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, influence, and decision-making skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience or experience in pharm/OTC/API qualification work.
  • Exceptional follow-up skills to ensure timely completion of actions and issue resolution.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferably with experience leading API qualification projects or with cross-functional experience, including RA, Quality Supply Chain, Sourcing, or make, with a preference for R&D experience.
  • Knowledge of New Product Development, Life Cycle Management of Pharm/OTC products, GMP, and c-DMF.
