Voith Turbo is seeking a skilled Sales Manager specializing in Trucks.
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager for Trucks will be responsible for:
- Identifying and cultivating new business prospects within existing and emerging markets. Gathering and disseminating market intelligence, including competitor and industry insights.
- Managing and enhancing key customer relationships to fulfill their requirements while exploring new business avenues within these accounts.
- Promoting both standardized and tailored products and services following the OTO process, which encompasses bidding, negotiation, contract finalization, and project management initiation. Meeting sales objectives and overseeing sales-related budgets and expenses.
- Utilizing internal and external resources to devise suitable and professional solutions based on customer requirements.
- Maintaining and updating data in the CRM system according to current and projected project information.
- Keeping abreast of market trends and developments.
- Assisting project managers in securing customer payments.
- Providing spare parts proposals to designated OEMs.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
- Supporting line management during customer events as required.
- Collaborating closely with business units to foster business growth and employing consultative skills to establish valuable customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, project management, or application roles within foreign or joint venture commercial vehicle component companies.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial vehicle chassis, powertrains, chassis electrical systems, or related components.
- A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in mechanics, with a focus on commercial vehicle applications being advantageous.
- Acceptable oral English skills, with proficiency in written English.
- Strong communication abilities and a customer-centric approach.
