Voith Turbo is seeking a Sales Manager for the Truck Sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects within existing and emerging markets. Gather and disseminate market intelligence, including competitor analysis and industry trends.
  • Oversee, nurture, and enhance key client relationships to fulfill their requirements while identifying new business avenues within these accounts.
  • Market both standardized and tailored products and services in accordance with the OTO process, which includes bidding, negotiation, and contract finalization, followed by project management initiation. Meet sales objectives and manage sales-related budgets and expenses.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to devise suitable and professional solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Input and maintain project-related data in the CRM system, based on current and projected information.
  • Ensure the market overview is consistently updated.
  • Assist project managers in securing customer payments.
  • Provide spare parts quotations to the designated OEM.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Support line management during customer events as required.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to foster business growth and employ consultative skills to establish valuable customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, project management, or application roles within foreign or joint venture commercial vehicle component companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicle chassis, powertrains, chassis electrical systems, or similar components.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in mechanics, with a focus on commercial vehicle applications being advantageous.
  • Proficient in written English, with acceptable oral communication skills.
  • Strong communication abilities with a customer-centric approach.
