DuPont's Auto Adhesives & Fluids division is a global leader in the automotive adhesives sector, continuously innovating and succeeding with leading OEMs. As the adoption of electric vehicles is projected to rise significantly in the coming years, automakers and tier suppliers are increasingly focusing on components and systems for fully electric vehicles, presenting complex challenges and opportunities in the automotive landscape. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for vehicle electrification, including battery pack thermal management, lightweighting, and E-powertrain segments. DuPont adhesives will consistently deliver innovative solutions to maintain our position as a market leader in vehicle electrification, automation, and supporting infrastructure.

This position is essential for managing and developing relationships with Automotive Tiers to drive sustainable and valuable business growth, particularly in the EV battery sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate target customers while driving profitable project pipeline growth, focusing on EV battery tiers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and other departments to develop and implement sales strategies that meet both team and individual financial goals.
  • Present the product offerings and value propositions to prospective customers.
  • Effectively manage channel partners and direct accounts by enhancing demand forecasting, inventory management, and relationship building.
  • Monitor competitive activities and share market intelligence and customer insights with the marketing and commercial leadership teams.
  • Actively participate in regional and national sales meetings and cross-functional activities.
  • Undertake additional assignments as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in chemical or materials science.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with a preference for experience in the automotive value chain.
  • Experience and knowledge related to EV batteries is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in demand generation and key account management.
  • Strong pipeline and project management skills.
  • High motivation and capability in business development and channel management.
  • Robust business acumen, innovative thinking, and sales execution skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, quick learning ability, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across various functions, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes.
