Procurement Manager for Indirect Categories

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Oversee both strategic and operational procurement initiatives focused on sourcing for APAC Indirect categories such as Marketing, Professional Services, Human Resources, Facilities, and General Services to bolster corporate functions. Drive value creation by aligning with brand goals regarding quality, supplier management, risk mitigation, innovation, sustainability, service enhancements, process optimization, and cost efficiencies to ensure satisfaction among internal stakeholders. Offer procurement expertise and guidance, advocate for purchasing protocols, and facilitate the sharing of best practices.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

A degree beyond a bachelor's level is required. Familiarity with strategic sourcing methodologies is essential.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES

A minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement within a multinational healthcare environment is necessary. Proficient understanding of indirect procurement practices, with experience in advanced purchasing tools and techniques. Strong analytical, persuasive, and creative skills along with teamwork capabilities. Exceptional communication skills are required to interact effectively with all organizational levels and suppliers. At least 3 years of experience in managing personnel is essential. Demonstrated ability to develop procurement strategies that align with broader business objectives.
