About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Customer Service professional to join our team at tesa. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain positive relationships with customers at various levels of the organization
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to expand our network and stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns, present our solutions to potential customers, and identify customer needs and pain points
  • Drive collaboration with internal stakeholders to adapt our product portfolios to new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competition, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making
  • Keep track of information gathered from the market and present it in a segmented and presentable manner
  • Report on progress and achievements to the Line Manager on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven work experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the new energy sector, preferably in stationary energy storage manufacturers or upstream suppliers to the battery industry
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong sense of self-motivation and teamwork
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Good level of English language proficiency
  • Business travel required
