DuPont's Auto Adhesives & Fluids division is a global leader in the automotive adhesives sector, consistently innovating and achieving success with leading OEMs. As the adoption of electric vehicles is projected to surge in the coming decades, automakers and tier suppliers are increasingly focusing on components and systems for fully electric vehicles, presenting complex automotive challenges and opportunities. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for auto electrification, including battery pack thermal management, lightweighting, and E-powertrain segments. DuPont adhesives will continually deliver innovative solutions to maintain our leadership in vehicle electrification, automation, and supporting infrastructure.

This position is vital for managing and developing Automotive Tier customers to drive sustainable and valuable business growth, particularly in the EV battery sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate target customers to drive profitable project pipeline growth, with a focus on EV battery tiers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and other departments to develop and implement a sales strategy that meets team and individual financial goals.
  • Present the product offerings and value propositions to target customers.
  • Effectively manage channel partners and direct accounts by enhancing demand forecasting, inventory management, and relationship building.
  • Monitor competitors and share market intelligence and customer insights with marketing and commercial leadership.
  • Actively participate in regional and country sales meetings and cross-functional activities.
  • Undertake additional assignments as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in chemical or materials science.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with a preference for experience in the automotive value chain.
  • Experience and knowledge related to EV batteries is advantageous.
  • Proven demand generation and key account management skills.
  • Strong pipeline and project management capabilities.
  • High motivation and ability in business development and channel management.
  • Strong business acumen, innovative thinking, and sales execution skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and a self-driven attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across various functions, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for business.
