Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Huntsman. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing sales plans to achieve objectives, providing basic technical support to key accounts, and developing value selling and technical understanding to accelerate new product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure business operations comply with company mission and vision by monitoring the application of operating standard procedures.
- Take responsibility for sales objective delivery and market development in assigned areas.
- Develop value selling and technical understanding to accelerate new product development with the right priority and value proposition.
- Work with line managers and marketing teams to execute sales plans in a timely fashion.
- Develop key account management plans to maintain strong relationships at multiple levels to expand market share.
- Work independently with technical teams to identify new opportunities, conduct opportunity assessments, and initiate projects to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- University degree in a chemical-related major (preferred).
- At least 5 years of technical or sales experience in the automotive industry.
- Basic knowledge of PU technology (not imperative but preferred).
- Integrity, dedication, open-mindedness, self-motivation, learning ability, and team spirit.
- English speaking and writing skills.
- Communication, leadership, and independent working abilities.
- Independent problem-solving ability.
- Analytical and creative thinking.
- Computer application skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
