Job Summary:

As a Technical Services Engineer - Scanner, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex equipment at customer locations. This includes equipment with new features, components, and ensuring they are aligned and tested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain equipment, including alignment and testing
  • Analyze applicability, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications
  • Recommend design changes or substitution of materials when appropriate
  • Evaluate and diagnose problems, making appropriate repairs
  • Work with co-workers, customer, and field support to isolate and solve problems
  • Maintain and optimize equipment daily to enhance functionality and prevent problems
  • Train customers in equipment use and routine maintenance
  • Answer customer questions and assist in a professional manner
  • Perform administrative and coordination duties, including pass-downs, work orders, and reports

Requirements:

  • BS degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, semiconductor processes, and relevant software
  • Sufficient oral and written English level
  • Knowledge of safety procedures

Work Environment:

Expect to spend more than 50% of the time inside the clean room working with mechanical and electrical equipment.
