Your Responsibilities: You will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing & Sales and the Head of Marketing Communication/PR, as well as the broader Commercial team, to develop and execute the Marketing/Communications/Social Content/PR strategy tailored for the Chinese market.

Your role will involve crafting customized approaches that align with the unique demands of the Chinese target markets while adhering to our overarching strategy. You will oversee all aspects of marketing, ideally with experience in the automotive sector or related industries, focusing on direct-to-consumer and agency network interactions. Experience in establishing a new brand is highly valued.

You will be responsible for managing market dynamics, promotional activities, and the commercial launch of new or updated vehicles in China.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Tailoring the global marketing strategy to meet the specific needs of the Chinese market for the Grenadier brand, ensuring alignment with brand values.
  • Building relationships with influential figures in the Chinese media across automotive, business, fashion, and high-end outdoor lifestyle sectors.
  • Collaborating closely with the China sales manager, regional business manager, and After-Sales manager to create a cohesive product launch plan.
  • Assisting in the development of INEOS corporate internal and external communications strategies in China.
  • Ensuring high-quality content for external communications in China, particularly through PR, digital, and social media channels.
  • Providing corporate communication support to management and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting in managing communication during issues.

What We Seek:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably with a BA or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven track record in national/international branding initiatives.
  • Experience managing substantial budgets and navigating short-term, mid-term, and strategic challenges.
  • Ability to coordinate agencies to successfully deliver multiple projects with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Marketing Communications and Media experience in a B2C context.
  • Automotive experience is highly desirable; broader sector experience is also welcome.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in the industry.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to approach challenges innovatively.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
