Position Overview

This role is part of our exceptional team at Aman properties around the world. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide unparalleled service to our guests, ensuring an exceptional experience in line with our luxury standards and Aman philosophy.
  2. Work diligently to maintain the highest standards of service and set a positive example for other team members.
  3. Notify supervisors or managers immediately of any hazards, injuries, or equipment damage requiring assistance.
  4. Ensure service areas are adequately stocked with necessary equipment throughout service hours.
  5. Maintain sufficient stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
  6. Prepare restaurants to receive guests, ensuring correct lighting, background music, and a clean and well-organized environment.
  7. Familiarize yourself with daily reservations to ensure guests are properly greeted and seated.
  8. Greet guests pleasantly and courteously, seating them quickly and efficiently.
  9. Familiarize yourself with the menu and products, presenting and recommending options, and repeating orders accurately.
  10. Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly, ensuring positive guest relations at all times.
  11. Adhere to outlet sequences of service and access all MICROS system functions, including cashiering duties and payment handling procedures.
Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in luxury hotel or resort F&B operations, well-trained in service standards.
  2. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and creative skills.
  3. Ability to perform under pressure.
  4. Fluent Mandarin and proficient English communication skills.
  5. Eligibility to work in Shanghai.
